Overnight Parking at The Club
Parking is one of the most common questions I get, so here’s a quick guide to how it works at The Club and why.
Resident Vehicles Belong in the Garage
Under CC&R Section 10.5.3, every vehicle owned or used by a resident must be parked in the garage. Resident vehicles may not be parked in driveways or on the street overnight from 10pm to 6am.
Keep Room in Your Garage
Section 10.5.3 also requires every garage to hold at least the number of cars it was built for. If boxes or belongings are pushing a car out onto the driveway, or making it hard to get in or out of the car, it’s time to clear some space.
Overnight Guests
Guests may park overnight once they’re safelisted. They should use your driveway first, and then the street if your driveway is full. To safelist a guest, contact me anytime before the first night with:
- The dates the guest will stay
- The guest’s name and the host’s name and address
- The vehicle’s make, model, and license plate
Why We Have This Rule
Our streets are private and maintained by the Association. Keeping them clear lets emergency vehicles and street sweepers get through and gives pedestrians and wheelchair users room to move safely. It also keeps The Club looking its best.
Need an Exception?
- New residents have 60 days to get their garage ready.
- Extenuating circumstances, such as a medical need, may qualify for temporary driveway use with Board approval. Contact me to request it.
- More than two vehicles? You can ask about a space in the RV Lot, as space permits.
Vehicles parked in violation may lead to a hearing and fines. Because our streets are private, vehicles may also be towed at the owner’s expense.
To safelist a guest or ask a question, call or text me at 951.621.3070, email selmorabit@actionlife.com, or stop by the office (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9am to 3pm).
Thank you for helping keep The Club safe and beautiful.
